🎾 Padel and Padel – Building a Smart Sports App from the Ground Up

Role: Product Lead | E2E, Product Design & Product Management and Delivery 

In 2020, I collaborated as an external consultant to design and launch Padel and Padel, a mobile app created to bring digital infrastructure to the growing padel sports community in Spain, created by Madison MK in Valladolid, Spain.

The app allowed users to:

• 📅 Book padel courts at affiliated clubs

• 🏆 Register match results and follow tournament standings

• 📊 Track performance across leagues and groups

👨💻 My Role

As external consultant, I:

• Defined the product structure and UX flow

• Coordinated with developers and designers for iOS and Android delivery

• Designed the court booking and match result systems

• Helped shape the product roadmap from MVP to growth stage

📈 Impact

• +40,000 downloads in Spain

• Adopted by padel clubs and tournament organizers

• Eventually acquired and integrated into a larger ecosystem

Bringing structure to a niche sport taught me how digital tools can empower real-world communities—and scale fast when they solve a pain point.
